Introducing the DALI KORE

We are proud to unveil the first pair of DALI KORE speakers on demonstration in Australia.
The initial plan was that the uncovering of this phenomenal speaker was to coincide with our showroom relocation. However, due to a delay in council approval, this has been placed on hold.
With this in mind, we could not wait any longer, and we would not want Australia waiting any longer to experience the epitome of DALI’s advanced prowess in loudspeaker design and development. We present to you the visual and sonic masterpiece, that is the DALI KORE!
The EPIKORE 11 speakers are also currently being showcased by the Amber Technology team at the StereoNET Hi-Fi & AV Show this weekend. Anyone in Melbourne should drop in to see these stunning pieces, among the many other gems that are on display!
At the moment, we are running in these magnificent speakers with our Michi P5 / Michi S5 combo. We have the Hegel P30A / Hegel H30A combo en route for the next phase of testing. Then following this, the coup de grâce, being the Pass Labs XP-22 preamplifier with a pair of Pass Labs X600.8 monoblocks, which are due to arrive in 2 to 4 weeks.
We have included a photo of the KORE next to a SPEKTOR 6 for scale, which effectively demonstrates the grand stature of these towering speakers.

Note: The castor wheels are attached as this is required to move the speaker into position (these speakers are 150 kg each). Once in position for a permanent installation the floor spikes can be wound down into the supplied pads and the castor wheels can then be removed.

The beasts have been unleashed!
Today we unpacked and set up the Pass Labs X600.8 monoblock power amplifiers, along with the XP-22 preamplifier.
This is one of those moments where words fall short of describing the euphoric experience that such a system is able to deliver.
The DALI KORE's are finally able to reach their full potential. The soundstage is so rich and thick, that you can literally reach out and feel the texture of the sound waves flowing around you. The bass is so powerful and visceral, that the listening chair seems to transform into a tactile transducer.
This is quite simply, musical perfection!
