The active OBERON ON-WALL C is a wire-free, on-wall audio solution. Designed to hang beside a wall-mounted TV in any room, the OBERON ON-WALL C is part of DALI EQUI, our high-performance ecosystem of wireless active speakers and amplifiers.

Easy to Position

The wide dispersion pattern of the drivers ensures well-integrated sound that drastically reduces off-axis harmonic distortion.

Low Latency

The SOUND HUB COMPACT uses a proprietary 30-bit wireless protocol to transmit to OBERON C with a typical latency of less than 15 ms.

Patented SMC

The woofer magnet's iron pole-piece includes a patented SMC disc that greatly reduces mechanical distortion for a relaxed midrange and lots of detail.

Active Speaker

Each driver is powered by a dynamic, closed-loop, 50 Watt peak, Class D power amplifier for exceptional sound quality.

Wireless Hi-Fi

The OBERON ON-WALL C was designed with TV audio in mind. Despite its compact size, this wireless active on-wall speaker can compete with significantly larger speakers. With keyhole slots at the rear for portrait and landscape mounting, this low profile, rear reflex-loaded performer makes for simple integration into any room... without the wires.

Reducing Distortion

DALI's patented SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound).

The OBERON ON-WALL C's 5¼" bass/midrange driver features our proprietary fine paper pulp and reinforced wood fibre composite diaphragm, whose stiff, lightweight structure helps to reduce unwanted distortion. We further reduce distortion by using an advanced, electrically non-conductive, copper-coated aluminium voice-coil wire and our unique SMC (Soft Magnet Compound) magnet technology. Materials like these significantly reduce the effect of distortion-producing mechanisms inherent in moving-coil driver design.

Class D Amplification

Reproducing the smallest detail with clarity and accuracy.

The OBERON ON-WALL C power amplification comprises two 50 watt-peak, closed-loop, Class D power amplifiers chosen specifically for their sound quality and dynamic ability. One amplifier powers the high-frequency driver, while the other powers the bass/mid drivers. The 100 dB signal-to-noise ratio of the power amplifiers ensures that even the smallest detail in a quiet musical passage is reproduced with clarity and accuracy.

Lightweight Soft Dome

Increased sensitivity and power handling with reduced distortion.

The OBERON ON-WALL C high-frequency driver is a damped textile, soft dome tweeter featuring an oversized, unusually light 29 mm diaphragm and voice-coil. They work together to increase sensitivity and power handling, and to reduce distortion. They also enable the driver to operate at lower frequencies than typical smaller tweeters for more latitude in the crossover design.

Innovative Cabinet Design

Enhancing bass performance.

The OBERON ON-WALL C cabinet is constructed from CNC-machined, high strength MDF panels finished in a variety of wood-effect or matt white laminates. The cabinet’s dual rear panel reflex ports exit parallel to the wall, using the interplay between the ports and wall surface to enhance the bass performance. This innovative solution is also the reason for the OBERON ON-WALL C's unusually shallow cabinet.
