Independent Power Supply System
The Pearl 30i 30th Anniversary Tube Amplifier is designed within a two cabinet system, comprising of a separate amplifier unit and power supply unit. The power supply unit consists of four power transformers, with two for the left channel and two for the right channel. Each channel has its own high voltage and low voltage power supply.
The power supply of each channel combines a 800 watts high voltage power supply and a 200 watts low voltage power supply. The total power output can reach up t0 2,000 watts to guarantee exceptional dynamics and superb transient response.
Both the amplifier and power supply units are comprised of a high rigidity chassis structure with the finest damping materials. This allows placement of the units to be either side by side or with the amplifier unit on top of the power supply, whilst maintaining a high S/N ratio and low magnetic interference.
Connection is achieved through customised power cables between the amplifier unit and power supply unit. The left and right channels combine to accept four cables comprised of 6N copper silver plated wire.
Tung-Sol KT170
Pearl 30i is designed on the basis of Tung-Sol KT170 power tubes. This amplifier outputs 230 watts in ultra-linear mode or 145 watts in triode mode per channel. Designed in Class AB push-pull, Pearl 30i utilises four powerful KT170 tubes per channel.
Dynamic Auto Bias
The Pearl 30i features auto bias for the KT170 power tubes. With auto bias, this means that if the power tubes are changed, you do not need to adjust the bias manually. Bias will be adjusted automatically and precisely so that all tubes can be matched perfectly. This can raise the reliability and provide an extended lifetime of the power tubes.
Dual Operation Mode
Pearl 30i offers two operation modes: triode and ultra-linear. This allows you to change the output mode to instantly change the sound signature.
Triode Mode
Tender, rich in harmony, and smooth. Ideal for vocal and instrumental music.
Ultra-Linear Mode
Power and extension. Clean with energy. Ideal for music that is dynamic and has punch. Offers excellent control ability.
Dual Timbres: Dynamic / Soft
Choice of two timbres: Dynamic and soft, which has been realised by adjusting the operation current of the KT170 power tubes.
JRC MUSES 72320V
High-precision JRC MUSES 72320V electronic volume controller to provide low noise, low distortion and 106-step linear volume control.
Programmed MCU
The programmed MCU within the Pearl 30i is designed with a variety of protection circuits and power-on timing so that the amplifier works in the best condition. 60 second time delay during power on, Soft start circuit and BMI function.

All tubes used in the Pearl 30i are hand picked and matched. The have all been strategically arranged in the amplification stages to deliver an unparalleled high-end audio experience.
Output Transformers
Output transformers are the most component in any tube amplifier. This determines the overall frequency range, from the lowest bass through to the highest top end frequencies. The Pearl 30i's output transformers are custom designed, wound in house with Z11 audio-grade silicon sheet steel, which guarantees the lowest signal loss.

Silver Plated Signal Wires
Silver plated signal wires have been used to guarantee signal transfer stability, lower signal attenuation and reduce interference.
Nichicon Audio-Grade Filter Capacitors
Inputs and Outputs
Four line inputs, one balanced input, one RCA pre-in and XLR pre-in are located on the rear panel of the amplifier. The combination of single ended RCA and balanced XLR inputs offers multiple connection choices.
