Tube (or valve) amplifiers are renowned for their lush, warm and organic sound signature. Another attractive trait is the ability to tube roll (change tubes to voice the amplifier according to taste and/or better match the speakers).
Please note that there is no difference between a tube amplifier and a valve amplifier. The term tube is commonly used in the USA, while the term valve is used in the UK and here in Australia. Both terms refer to the exact same type of amplifier.
