HDMI Repeaters are ideal when the HDMI Cable distance you require is longer than is possible with a standard HDMI Cable. Over longer distances, a HDMI signal will attenuate (lose strength).
Depending on the recipient display or device, this may result in the signal degrading to the point where it will no longer perform as expected. A HDMI Repeater will intelligently recreate and boost the signal so that a longer transmission distance of up to 35m is possible.
In summary, a HDMI Repeater will increase the maximum distance between HDMI connections to be much greater than that which a single, passive HDMI Cable will allow.
This HDMI Repeater features 8 levels of EQ to boost HDMI signal strength, enabling a 1080p signal to be transmitted up to 35m. As this is an active solution, the signal is completely regenerated and all sparkles are eliminated before being sent to the display.
